At NW Pro Write, we believe that a past mistake shouldn't dictate a lifetime of struggle. We believe that the current American justice system is broken, often focusing on punishment rather than rehabilitation.

The statistics are staggering. In countries like Finland and Norway, the focus is on education, trade skills, and reintegration. As a result, their return-to-prison rates are nearly non-existent (often cited as less than 1%). In contrast, the United States sees nearly 80% of formerly incarcerated individuals re-offend and return to the system.

We are here to help change that number.

We established the L.A.R.R. Program to break the cycle of incarceration. We provide the tools, documentation, and guidance necessary to turn a "release date" into a "career start date."

We offer a comprehensive suite of employment and educational services completely free of charge to eligible candidates. We don't just write a document; we build a path forward.

Who We Serve

The L.A.R.R. initiative is dedicated to helping those who have recently exited the justice system and are ready to rebuild their lives.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Recent Release: Must have been released from incarceration within the last 5 years.
  • Facility Type: Includes release from any State or Federal Penitentiary, or any City or County Jail.

Program Policies & Exclusions:

While we are deeply committed to community rehabilitation, NW Pro Write must prioritize the safety and specific scope of our staff's expertise. Therefore, we respectfully cannot offer services to individuals with convictions regarding:

  • Sex offenses (including those requiring registry).
  • Crimes against children or child abuse.
  • Sexual violence.

We thank you for your understanding regarding these professional boundaries.
